Services at St Mary’s

My name is James Percival and I’m the parish priest for St Mary’s and also Team Vicar in the parish of Sanderstead. You can contact me on 020 8657 1725 or james@sanderstead-parish.org.uk

At St Mary’s, we offer worship, teaching and hospitality that is inclusive and inspiring, which feeds and equips us to grow as followers of Jesus in our daily lives – far from perfect, but finding, and being found by, the deepest truth and love in Christ. We are a warm, welcoming, family-friendly church. Our main service is a Eucharist every Sunday at 10am. We offer a particular welcome to those seeking God’s blessing and presence at special moments in their lives. Our church building, and our church community, speaks of God’s presence, in the midst of needful, earthy and joyous humanity. We are worth a visit and hope that you will find a spiritual home here. Come as you are.

God bless,
James

Whole7Days…

Building the foundations for the next 100 years of St Mary’s church

Our vision is a future in which St Mary’s grows to become the centre of local community life, providing a wide variety of cultural, communal and educational activities.

This will enable St Mary’s church building to play a much more prominent role in our local community, feeding people not only in spirit, but in mind and body, enabling it to be a living building; as the hymn goes: Seven whole days…not one in seven.
