On the first Saturday of every month between 10 and 11.30 am. Everyone is welcome to drop into the William Goddard Room at St Edmund’s for coffee, chat and more.
St Edmund’s Caring Group
The Caring Group is a group of volunteers who are available to help the people of Riddlesdown in a variety of ways. Help includes shopping, sitting with the lonely and elderly, respite help for carers, transport - especially for medical appointments, befriending, taking care of children when parents are ill, escorting on public transport etc.

St Edmund’s DCC
The District Church Council is chaired by the Team Vicar and comprises St Edmund’s churchwardens, Reader, Synod and PCC representatives and six elected members. Lay members are elected by the Church’s Annual General Meeting. It meets six times a year and, in a relatively small Church, can consider all key issues at the main meetings, although sub-groups are set up from time to time for specific purposes.
St Edmund’s Lunch Club for the retired.
The lunch club meets twice a month on Wednesdays. The cost is £2.50, excluding refreshments. Please contact Olive Johnson via the Parish Office.
