HISTORY IN PICTURES
Regular visitors to the site will know we used to have a section called “Remember this”. (this has now gone and has been replaced with this section.) Due to a large number of different types of pictures being given to us to share with you, we are at the present time producing a large collection of pictures from yesterday.
Please remember that all of these pictures are protected by copyright either by the Parish of Sanderstead or by others. You may use these pictures for your own personal research or educational use but at no time must they be published in any form including other internet sites, e-mails, photocopying etc. without the express written permission of the Parish of Sanderstead or other relevant copyright holders.
Pictures of the past for the future
One of the aims of this section is to collect a record of our past from the local area including groups, organisation, buildings and people. When we first started researching for this site, we found it hard to believe how many places and stories of the past have never been captured. As time moves on, more people are coming forward and helping us to collect these pictures. We know that there must be many more around. Our aim is to have somewhere that future generations can see and research the past of our local area. Please help us by sending us any pictures you may have so we can add it to our collection.
