The Parish of Sanderstead is over 800 years old. Mentioned in the Doomsday book “Sanderstede”. The Parish Church was also mentioned. The Parish Church stands today 596 ft above sea level looking over the Parish. The Church may have changed slightly over time but it’s purpose has always stayed the same. Articles published here have been collected from past parish publications or from research in the local reference library.
