The first records within Sanderstead Parish go back as far as 1565. This is the first baptism recorded. In 1755, two weddings are recorded: Jackson-Townsend and Richard Darnford, of St. Magnus, London Bridge and Elizabeth Darnford, of Sanderstead. Over the years, the past records can be seen on microfilm from reference libraries or by visiting some genealogy web sites. Each Month the Parish Magazine publishes the Parish Registers for Baptisms, Marriages and Deaths.
