A Brief History
St. Antony's ChurchBuilt in the 1950's, the Church was built due to the demand and increasing of the population within the local area. Today, the Church functions as a place of worship and a multi function hall.

How to Get there
By Road
St. Antony's is within 20 minutes of both the M25 and M23. From these M25, you will need to take Junction 7 (A23) and follow the signs to Croydon. Stay on this road until you come to Purley Cross. Here, you will need to be in the right hand lane and follow signs to Sanderstead. From here, follow the road until a roundabout. All Saints' Church, will be in front of you here. You need the third turning off towards Warlingham. Follow road through Sanderstead Village and past Atwood School. Once past the School, keep going until you see a set of traffic lights. Just before these, there is a turning on the right. Take this turning and follow road and St. Antony's is on the right hand side.
If you are coming from London, Follow signs to South Croydon (A23). You will come to a Sign for Sanderstead. This is known as Purley Oaks. Follow road to top of hill and turn Right into Sanderstead Hill. At the Roundabout, take the second turning towards Warlingham. All Saints' will be on your left. Follow road through Sanderstead Village and past Atwood School. Once past the School, keep going until you see a set of traffic lights. Just before these, there is a turning on the right. Take this turning and follow road and St. Antony's is on the right hand side.
By Train
You will need the East Grinstead Line from London Victoria or London Bridge. You will need to get off at "Sanderstead" which is in Zone 6. From this station, you will need to catch the bus (Route 403). See below for details
By Bus
St. Antony's is on Route 403 (Warlingham to Croydon). The Bus stops are at Hamsey Green Village (Good Companions Pub) From here, walk up the main road (Tithe Pit Shaw) and before the road bends to the left take the right hand turn. Carry on walking down the road and St. Antony's is on the left hand side.
