Church Flowers

St Edmund's flower team is responsible for the floral decoration of St. Edmund's throughout the year. The team always welcomes new members. If you would like to pay for the altar flowers to celebrate a special event in your life or remember a friend or relative, please contact Olive Johnson; the flowers can be arranged for you by the team, or you could arrange them yourself.

The Lunch Club

St Edmund's Lunch Club is a lively group of the retired that meets twice a month on Wednesdays to chat over a delicious hot lunch. Advance booking is essential. If you are interested in joining the Club, please contact Olive Johnson.

Mothers’ Union

Our main meetings are held on the 2nd Monday evenings of the month at 8.00pm, usually in the Garden room, All Saints’ church halls. Holy Communion is on the 4th Wednesday of each month in All Saints’ Church at 10.00am followed by a topical discussion and coffee. See “Web page” for further Information

Buildings and Finance Steering Group

The Buildings and Finance Steering Group is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of St Edmund's building and grounds. The Group reports to the District Church Council.

House groups

House groups provide an environment where you can develop your faith and deepen friendships as you study the Bible and pray with others in the informal setting of someone's home.

Music at St. Edmund’s

Services at St Edmund's are normally accompanied by either the organ or piano, played by Organist Kathleen Davies.

Prayer Breakfasts

Get the weekend off to a good start by coming to our monthly prayer breakfast. A period of reflection and prayer is followed by breakfast together. Prayer breakfasts take place on the second Saturday of each month at 8.30 am.

Prayer Group

The Prayer Group meets once a month on a Monday morning in a member's home. All are welcome to join us for Bible readings and prayer.

Publicity and Outreach Steering Group

The Publicity and Outreach Steering Group is responsible for promoting awareness of the activities of St Edmund's Church both within the congregation and externally. The Group reports to the District Church Council.

Worship and Welcome Steering Group
